EL PASO—A groundbreaking new study has revealed that women are eschewing therapy in favor of visiting mechanics to ‘get their mental check-ups.’ “Something about the smell of WD-40 just makes me feel human again,” explained Janice Fields, 32, as she eagerly climbed onto an engine hoist.
Respondents agreed that while therapists offer skills to navigate relationships, mechanics provide tools to revamp those same relationships. “Give a girl a relationship wrench, and she’ll twist her own heart structures,” noted lead researcher Dr. Alan Ratchet.
