Study Finds Morning Excitement Solely Due to Prospect of Sleeping Again

OXFORD—A report from the Center for Sleep Prioritization revealed the primary reason people look forward to waking up is anticipating their next sleep cycle. “Honestly, the best part of waking up is realizing sleeping is just a few hours away,” said sleep enthusiast Carol Pritchard.

The survey, conducted on over 1,000 participants, concluded that simply fantasizing about bedtime uplifts morning morale. “My morning mantra is ‘Think pillow,'” added Pritchard.

Researcher Dave Long expressed disbelief over the findings, “Who knew sleep was more popular than breakfast?” He further observed that people now countdown nights like New Year’s Eve, eagerly asking, “Is it bedtime yet?”
